What Participants are Saying
What first drew me to Sara’s class was the opportunity to collage – which I have loved to do since I was a kid – in the context of a women’s circle. The atmosphere of trust, honesty, and respect I found in the class fed my soul almost as much as the card-making process itself. Making cards gives me a focus for creativity and self-knowledge that is nurturing, safe, and EXCITING. I am feeling better in my daily life now that this rich source of insight is available to me. My heart has grown bigger, stronger, BRAVER by participating in this process—by being present in this sacred circle. I try to attend all of Sara’s classes because she knows how to create a safe, comfortable space for creation and self-exploration. And I love her gentle leadership style.--Beth Franks
I feel blessed to have been introduced to SoulCollage® by Sara Pranikoff at Women Writing for a Change. From the moment I took a seat in the circle at my first class session, I knew I was “home” and had found a place and process that would nurture my soul. Sara’s facilitating style is gentle, quiet, intuitive, and respectful; by sharing her own work and process, she invites others to share to the extent they feel comfortable. I love the soothing rituals incorporating music, flowers, intention-setting, and the ‘talking stone’ that begin each session. Sara has a special knack for choosing just the right poems and readings for reflection and card-making, which she supports with a wide array of stunning images and generous supplies. Everything about the way Sara structures her classes leads me to feel safe, supported, and eager to journey inward. Thanks to her uniquely-themed classes, SoulCollage has become my most important spiritual practice and tool for growth. –Karen Regina
SoulCollage in Sara's circle awakened a new way for me to listen deeply to my life, to trust more fully the stirrings in my heart for which I had not had words before. The overwhelming abundance of images she collects, the gentle spaces she creates to receive them, the attentive process in which she invites wisdom forward has changed my life. --Participant
Sara's SoulCollage workshops attend to and nourish aspects of myself that are often neglected. I am told that being a Taurus is what urges me towards things of beauty, and I find comfort in having workshops structured and organized and I appreciate a teacher and guide who invites the experience with sophisticated intelligence, and In Sara and her SoulCollage workshop all of these requirements are met.
I am nourished by both the beauty and careful attention to content when I attend a SoulCollage workshop with Sara. Soon after registration I receive an e-mail containing everything I need to inspire me. The theme Sara picks for our SoulCollage are thought provoking and mystical. The space is always warm and welcoming and I am grateful for the invitation to arrive early so I can take my time in deep silence, to move at my leisure, through the rooms, sifting through the abundant collection of carefully chosen images laid out ... which I find to be in itself a meditation.
I particularly look forward to the opening circle and receiving the poem and guided meditation to support the theme we are offered to work with ... they take me on a journey of self-discovery that stimulates and inspires my creativity ...
Last but by no means least, is the opportunity to take the journey side-by-side with other women in a shared, individual process that culminates in the coming together at closing to share our self-discovery with one another in a way that feels profoundly sacred and honoring ... A workshop with Sara is the medicinal song for my soul that I am deeply grateful for. -- Nita-Rose Augsbach

The SoulCollage process called me to let go of my usual control and direction, opening up space for the spirit to move in and speak. I came to Women Writing for a Change in search of healing in my life. I found the website and was drawn to the SoulCollage offering. All this came to me at a crucial time in my life when great changes were happening in my life beyond my control and I felt so vulnerable. Participating in the SoulCollage circle helped me to explore my sacred inner landscape and find my strength in the circle of women. Being in circle with other women and observing their cards, I discovered that I was not alone. The most wonderful thing I remember was being told I had a voice. We were writing "I am the one who" and I voiced that I was not a writer. I was asked if I had something to say. I said yes. I was told that if I had something to say or a story then I could write. These gatherings are deeply sacred; Sara has a healing heart, sacred presence and touch. –Celeste Lee
I have always had art in my life, whether I created it or whether it hangs on my walls or sits on my shelves, so signing up for Soul Collage seemed like a natural fit. Needless to say, I loved it, but it demonstrated to me something I had felt intuitively but never really seen demonstrated--that every person is an artist, and that every person has something to say through art. While putting together my own collages is engrossing and satisfying, I find that listening to other women talk about their collages is deeply meaningful and revelatory. Soul Collage opened me not only to many sides of myself, but also to the many facets of those in my Soul Collage circle. – Claudia Kasvin
